About this design
This mythical creature wallpaper features symmetrically arranged winged lions in dusty turquoise against a deep teal background, accented with coral-pink palm trees and ornamental mandala motifs. The large-scale pattern combines block-print aesthetic with fantastical zoology, creating a bold statement design where each lion measures approximately 12-15 inches in height. Geometric tribal elements, compass roses, and celestial stars fill the negative space with intricate detailing that rewards closer inspection.
Designed for maximalist interiors and eclectic bedroom spaces, this pattern works exceptionally well as a feature wall in dining rooms, creative home offices, or bohemian living areas. The distinctive coral and teal color palette pairs beautifully with natural wood furnishings, brass fixtures, and jewel-tone textiles. The symmetrical mirrored layout creates visual rhythm suitable for walls flanking fireplaces or behind upholstered headboards, while the mythological subject matter appeals to collectors of folklore-inspired decor.
The hand-drawn linework quality and folk art influences make this design particularly suited for curated interiors that embrace storytelling through pattern. The mid-century exotic motif references vintage travel posters and botanical illustration traditions, offering depth beyond typical animal-themed wallcoverings.

“We originally ordered for a wall with a closet, I decided last minute to switch the wall so we didn't have enough. I reached out and they were able to send me an extra piece exactly where the pattern left off. The shipping was incredibly fast and customer service was amazing . I'm in loveeee with how this came out for our daughters room”

Gorgeous. Only complaint is
“Gorgeous. Only complaint is that there were no instructions for the glue application wallpaper. It was just flaked, dry glue in the center of the roll of wallpaper, made a mess when we opened. We just bought actual wallpaper glue… also needed additional application tools. But the shipping and actual product were 10/10! Would purchase here again.”
I am so in
“I am so in love with the way this wallpaper turned out! Interacting with the seller to order a custom size was easy, efficient, and clear. It was shipped so fast and arrived undamaged. Installation was very easy and fun! I could not have picked a better wallpaper for my vision - thank you so much Wallhue!!”
